Virginia Tuna Cheesy Quiche Recipe

This is a light and tasty tuna quiche recipe, a great solution for any meal whether it’s for afternoon tea, a picnic in the park or evening meal. With two tins of Virginia tuna and some supermarket pastry – you can make this cheesy quiche in no time at all!


1 sheet of puff pastry

2 tins of drained Virginia tuna

4 eggs

250ml of single cream

50g of grated gruyere cheese 

250ml of milk

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon of mustard

salt and pepper to taste


Before you start, preheat your oven to 180 degrees C / Gas 4.

Line a pie tin with puff pastry, prick with a fork and spread a thin layer of mustard onto the dough. Now crumble over the tuna and sprinkle with lemon juice.

Whisk the eggs, cream, milk and grated cheese in a bowl. Stir until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over the tuna.

Now bake for approximately 35 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
